grab update error

I'm grabbing packages after a stock RH-9.0 installation. grab appears to be choking on the updates. see error below. running grab with the redownload doesn't make a difference. has anyone seen this error before? ************************snip error from grab************************************* -You selected 7.4M of archives ->Do you want to continue?
