Hey, > Add 'options cmpci fmio=0' to /etc/modules.conf. You > may want 'options cmpci fmio=0 mpuio=0' instead. Thanks for the suggestion, I gave it a shot but it's still not working. Here, lemme quote the Kernel logs: ------ [...] cmpci: version $Revision: 5.64 $ time 13:45:13 Sep 4 2002 PCI: Found IRQ 10 for device 00:0d.0 PCI: Sharing IRQ 10 with 00:11.0 cmpci: found CM8738 adapter at io 0x6400 irq 10 cmpci: chip version = 055 cmpci: Enable SPDIF loop PCI: Found IRQ 10 for device 00:11.0 PCI: Sharing IRQ 10 with 00:0d.0 cmpci: found CM8738 adapter at io 0x7800 irq 10 cmpci: cannot register misc device ------[...] You see, the first card loads fine and the second, even after the changes in modules.conf still does not. However, it used to give another error about a conflict in IO port which it doesn't seem to do right now. So, that probably fixed something in there, but the problem remains. --adam > -- > Sound-list mailing list > [email protected] > https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/sound-list > -- Sound-list mailing list [email protected] https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/sound-list
