Hi, I have an Ultra5 running Redhat 6.2. My problem is that when I scp a file into the machine, the progress bar shows no error and the correct file size. However, when I do an ls -l it shows the file size to be very large (1374389534720 in this case from the correct size of 320). The script file only contains 7 lines of code including blanks. I am using openssh-3.2.3p1 compiled from source. This also manifested on openssh-3.4p1. The remote machines varies from a Pentium4 running Redhat 7.3 and an Intel box running Solaris2.6. I can't open the file using vi. Anyone can shed light on this ? Thanks in advance. -arnold
