Performance on USparc 8 , Linux 2.2.17, eprints software

	Hi List!

	I think I have severe performance problems with my installation of
eprints software.

(www.eprints.org ; scientific publications database; perl based)

	I'm running it on a Ultra Sparc 8, Linux, Redhat(6.2->7.3) box.

	Any idea how to identify where the problem is ?

	apache (1.3.23)? mod_perl (1.26) ? perl (5.6.1)? perl modules
	(XML/DBD/mysql/etc) ? 	mysqld (3.23.32)? glibc (2.2.4)?
	httpd.conf with port 81 going into some kind of strange DNS lookup?
	(most locally compiled from redhat 7.3 src.rpms)

	Currently running on:
	http://www.iis.ee.ic.ac.uk:81 , no documents in the database yet.

	Thanks for any tips/clues you may have.
