E1k And RedHat

Hello all!  Trying to install RedHat 6.2 on a SPARCServer 1000e.  This
particular machine has 256MB of ram and 8 50mhz CPUs... I get all the
way through to the reboot... Then the post comes up, SILO loads, when it
goes to the next section (booting kernel... or close to it...) it locks
hard... no Stop-a, nothing... I can get Solaris 8 10/00 on it no
problem... Any ideas? Have not tried debian, suse, or mandrake (just
downloaded all of them...).
