Does anyone here know anything about IBM HS20 blades based on EM64T not
being able to boot an SMP kernel? I've tried both U2 and U2, as well as
building my own ultra-stripped kernel and they panic instantly. I can't
get anything from IBM, the only info that I've found is something about
a change in FSB (from 533 to 800) that caused some issues.

I can boot the UP (ia32e) kernel as long as I supply acpi=3Doff -
otherwise that horks as well.

Of course, IBM lists "full support" for RHEL3,
(http://www.pc.ibm.com/us/compat/nos/redchate.html - 8843 model) but no
modifier for "Update" release. Thank you again to RH marketing for the
awesome revisioning schema.
