There are still problems with up2date that keep you from being able to download the i386/i686 version of rpms manually using the "--get" argument (when they are in fact present in the channel) for 32-bit compatibility on x86_64 and ia64 platforms. This was reported more than 2 weeks ago. And if you want to run "--installall" you can't today, because the channel still has a package that shouldn't be in there and causes an unresolvable dependency failure: Unresolvable chain of dependencies: compat-gcc-g77-7.3-2.96.119 requires compat-gcc = 7.3-2.96.119 That can easily be solved by RH, but not by an end-user, by either updating the compat-gcc-g77 package to match the compat-gcc in the channel, or removing compat-gcc-g77-7.3-2.96.119 from the channel. The eclipse problem is on an x86_64 system, right? They don't have all the needed 32-bit compatibility libraries in the channel.
