up2date fails with SSL error

Hello,

I just installed the beta2 images on an opteron system (pxeboot, 
everything install) and the install went very smoothly.  

One thing I was glad to see improved since I tried gingin was that AMD64
the PGI compilers now function properly (even though PGI won't yet support 
it and the install script wants SUSE).

My problems began when I went to run up2date.  

Running up2date --nox gives:

There was an SSL error: [('SSL routines', 'SSL3_GET_SERVER_CERTIFICATE', 
'certificate verify failed')]
A common cause of this error is the system time being incorrect. Verify 
that the time on this system is correct.
--
[root@taroon_amd ]# date
Wed Sep 10 11:27:55 MEST 2003

which is the correct time/date.

I see from the list that up2date has been updated since the beta2 release, 
but I cannot find the updated rpms on the ftp site.  Am I being dense?
