We have a ML350G1 and the install went fine.  Here is the configuration:

256MB RAM
1x Pentium III 866MHz/256KB
D02/F02 (05/30/2003)
NC6770 NIC

It's the first generation of the ML350. It happens with RHEL 3.0 beta 1 and 2.
RHEL 2.1 works fine.
