Can you elaborate on 'several large DB running on ldap'? I've wondered about using ldap as a backend for something like a user preferences database for a web site which needed to be replicated, but never had a chance to really research it. That being said.. we have several large DB running via ldap at the moment, and have found that 2.1 is much more stable than our 2.0 machines.. just for a data point for RH to look at in the future. I will admit that I do not know how much of that stability is due to careful planning on our part to use well designed schema.
