What to call the packages that Debian produces?

Another one from the stupid questions guy:

If there a recommended name for the type of packages that Debian uses? I
see them variously referred to as "Debian packages", "debs", ".debs" and
other things (although the first three are the most common). Is there a
Debian style-guide recommendation for the name?
