Up2date in RHEL 5

In RHEL4 (and earlier I think), the  --channel parameter (see below) specified
from which channel the updates would be downloaded.  I could then maintain a
list of current RPMs for several RHEL versions on one computer.

up2date --channel rhel-i386-ws-3 --showall

I tried installing the RHEL4 up2date rpm, but it conflicts with
rhn-client-tools.

Any ideas on how to access the up2date repo's for RHEL4 and earlier in RHEL5?

Can yum do this?
