Hello all,

some info about on-going works. I have removed the Maintenance kernel
config setting today, which had been discouraged for years. Use softmode
or module switching instead - maintenance mode is basically the same as
global softmode with logging off.

Development concentrates on kernel lines 3.2 and 3.10, mostly because we
are using these long-term support kernels at m-privacy and there are
recent PaX patches for both. The next release is probably for these two.

The next release is getting nearer, but there is no scheduled release
date. Please test the latest code in 3.2 and 3.10 git repos, specially
the new optional MOVETO request (move into a dir, replaces WRITE on DIR
target, which cannot easily be administrated).

Amon.
