Hey Eddy, have have updated both nagios and cacti on a Sentinix 0.75 box
and it is very simple.

Cacti, go to the website and look for upgrade documentation. Use the
upgrade from .80 and up or someting like that and follow the docs to the
letter. Very quick and easy.

Nagios, is equally easy. Download nagios and nagios-plugins src and do a
simple ./configure, make and make install for both. Doesn't get any
easier without package management and Michel is working on that. :)
