Although I haven't studied the Kermet license in depth, I right away can tell it's not Free Software / Open Source. Just read this: "The C-Kermit source code may not be changed without the consent of the Kermit Project, which will not be unreasonably withheld (this is simply a matter of keeping a consistent and supportable code base)." -- ftp://kermit.columbia.edu/kermit/f/COPYING.TXT That's *not* open source, it's something else. Only Open Source / Free Software projects will be included in Sentinix, sorry. Free Software implies freedom (to use, modify, copy and redistribute) to both corporations, non-profit organisations, government, anti-government, whoever... *without* having to ask anyone for permission. Any software's license must qualify those 4 freedoms. http://www.gnu.org/philosophy/free-sw.html Michel Rob Enders wrote: > I have installed Kermit on Sentinix in order to create a simple alphanumeric > pager script.
