I had a stable install all of a sudden stop responding yesterday also.
Apache was not running and would not start. I checked /var/log/apache
and found 4 log files that totaled over 3.5 Gig's. Removed the logs and
restarted the box and all has been well. How long has this box been up?
Mine was about 6 months old.
