2003-12-12: Non-bootable ISO problem! The SENTINIX 0.70.5 and Beta 01 ISO images were created with boot-size 32, but some picky BIOSes wants only boot-size 4. Why did I do 32? because a real early version of SENTINIX wouldn't boot with 4, 8 or 16 on an old PC of mine, but now boot-size 4 seems to be working fine on that one. 4 is what everone recommends, so it'll show up in SENTINIX 0.71, but until then, if you experience this problem and really want to test it, try booting the CD on whole different PC (with different BIOS) or you can always try to upgrade your BIOS firmware. /Michel On Wednesday 12 May 2004 01:35, Francis McPhail wrote: > Hi everyone, I've had a look through the archive and have spotted > another user who had a problem booting the .iso image of sentinix but > didn't see a solution.
