[email protected]:~$ clamscan -V
clamscan / ClamAV version 0.70

                          Clam AntiVirus Scanner 0.70

No. As I said, I run this on a default Sentinix 0.70.5 installtion. It's not
the default kernel, gcc 2.95.3 is patched with the stack-smashing protector
(propolice AKA ssp), but it does *NOT* change anything that would change it's
"2.95.3 behaviour".

In order to try to help you out, please post the entire compilation log of
clamav, of course, including the part where it fails.

Wouldn't know, only the base-system is LFS (or LFS-based, some modifications,
much inspiration from Slackware), the rest is "independent".

Check out http://cvs.berlios.de/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/sentinix/sentinix/usr/src/
for the CVS tree. It's not been updated for a while, but clamav is in there
(not 0.70 though, but I used the same scripts to compile 0.70).
