You just have to download the sources and compile them.
Just remember where are your main configuration files and application
folders (/usr/local/cacti for exemple). Don't forget to read all the
document to know how upgrade without losing all your previous datas.
For compilation, read the README and INSTALL file given with. (usually =
:
./configure
make all
make install
)
I do this for nagios (1.2), rrdtool (1.0.48), cacti (0.8.5a) and adding
ntop.
