  Read it again and this time don't put more into it than is there. No one said it's dead, 
but it sure isn't gaining thumbs ups by leaps and bounds. It was the first and was thusly 
the leader at one time. Why do you think it isn't so anymore? Many reasons, of course, but 
acting the elitists with new users sure doesn't and didn't help.

  Fantastic. Good for him and appreciated, it doesn't mean he's flawless and can't be told 
he wasn't helpful in any given situation.

  You also don't help your argument when you have to slander in pathetic little ways the 
names of states you apparently don't seem to care for.

  Thanks for proving my point. You seem to think that "real contributions" can only 
pertain to anything that helps someone not new or used to using Slack/Linux, meanwhile 
forgetting (or ignoring) the fact that "real contributions" help whomever needed that 
particular kind at the moment. Rich helped and contributed just as well as someone 
explaining a not-so-well-known shortcut in emacs - most people don't use emacs and 
couldn't care less about it, and they could say that it was no "real contribution" also, 
but most won't and don't because it helped *someone*, *somewhere* possibly. So don't give 
me a spiel about me moral posturing when you don't seem to have seen ground from that 
high-horse of yours in a long time.
