I have never seen so much hoopla over any other linux distro release! 
Someone mentioned that the slackdocs wikki was slashdotted, I've seen 3 
announcements on the first page of lxer.com, Phoronix carried the story 
as well and I'm seeing over 800 seeds and peers on bittorrent.

All I can say is the world feels like a better place again. Thanks to 
Pat and all who do what they do to make Slackware the finest distro in 
the world!
