Hi gang,

I built deadbeef on my Slackware 14.0 system but had to do a little tinkering
with all the files for it as it's a bit outdated. I also happened to find out
that the newest version of it does *not* ffmpeg 0.11 and newer as an option,
but that supposedly it supports anything older than 0.11.

Is it possible to have two different versions of something like that on one's
  system?

If so, how doesw one do it? I'll use those instructions and put them in the
README file of deadbeef in case anyone but me actually wants to build and use
  that app, heh.

  John
