Even simpler, download the build material provided by Pat for efibootmgr:
http://mirrors.slackware.com/slackware/slackware64-14.1/source/a/efibootmgr/
make a package for your Slackware version, install it, use it to
make a boot entry for Slackware in the menu of your UEFI boot
manager.
