Hey all, I upgraded a server to Slackware 14.2 and printing from workstations is largely hosed. CUPS was so broken I used the HP Device Manager to install the printer. That allowed local printing. After fighting with Samba I was able to print off of a Mac Book but not a Windows workstation. Windows (both 7 and 10) was able to see the printer and eventually I was prompted to enter a login and (smb) password. However, printing failed silently. I tried a number of options described by the documentation but nothing seemed to work. If anyone has an smb.conf with security set to share (on slack 14.2) please post it - I was forced to use 'security = user' which is causing my users problems.
