Hi Sergei,

This is Slackware64 14.2, vanilla install (full). Chipset is an Intel
Integrated Graphics Controller 4th Gen. on a Lenovo Thinkcentre e73. Cable
is new, I can try another SVGA cable but I doubt that's going to change the
behaviour. And yes, the monitor not only supports 1920 x 1080 - that is the
optimal resolution according to the documentation. HDMI is an option
although I'd have to invest in a cable and I'm cheap. ;-)

HP doesn't offer a driver but I'll try xorg. This is actually a very nice
LED. I'm a photographer and the backlit IPS is great for photo editing.
I'll suffer through spongy fonts until someone comes along with a good open
source driver / functional 10-monitor.conf ...
