Hm that's very strang. I often do installs with LVM and reiserfs (last a 7.3 
on our workstations) and never did something special to get reiserfs and 
lvm-support. Those modules are normaly automaticly loaded on request.

The modules in your installation-system must match the kernel from the 
bootdisk. If you haven't changed anything on the installation-system it 
should work.

Maybe there is a syntax error in your tcf files which prevents the 
configuration from getting the right values.

What does 
/usr/lib/alice/utils/show_value -fqhn hostname sys SYS_LVM say ??
