Hi Check you have gdm (gnome display manager) installed Check /etc/initab .. see what the default display manager is set (or via = YaST2). You start a non default ?dm from init 3 with startx --gdm (man startx). SuSU has kde as default (if installed of course!).. Hope that helps...
