Hm very strange, I used it directly on a copy of the ftp. with the url: nfs://ip/ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/i386/update/7.0 so all installed packages are updated excluding kernel-rpm ans package not installed on that system. With -U you would have installed ALL packages for which are updates are available, even if they where not installed before. Hm, without any physical access to that installed system it will be very hard to figure out why it won't work the expected way :-( Greetings JÃŒrgen - -- JÃŒrgen Henge-Ernst Phone: +49 (0)6196/50 95 1-32 SuSE Linux AG Fax: +49 (0)6196/40 96 07 Mergenthaler Allee 45-47 Mobile: +49 (0)177 /26 74 748 65760 Eschborn, Germany EMail: [email protected] -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: For info see http://www.gnupg.org iD8DBQE8rCSTwIwzBbM848kRAoiCAJ4rv1pbcXe2Gsq1pf2WR6UmNMOeHQCgkp8s AwkfNfayqhjnGUSwZq00pms= =1/JW -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [email protected] For additional commands, e-mail: [email protected]
