Hi its me again,

now I got another error message:

cvs export: cannot open /root/.cvsignore: Permission denied
cvs [export aborted]: can't chdir(/root): Permission denied

Why root? I thought it does not depend on who creates the bootdisk? And
what does export mean?

What I do is:

I checkout the alice repository as root which can be found then under
/root/alice. Then I create the bootdisk with ALICE_HOME=/root/alice and
everthing works fine until the connection to the cvs server is established.
(I have no problem with nfs distributed config files.)

My tag again:
<SYS_ALICE_CFG_URL>cvs://[email protected]/var/cvs?module=alice&proto=pserver</SYS_ALICE_CFG_URL>

I do not know where I make a mistake, especially the named error message
doesn't say anything to me.
