Antwort: Re: [alice] alice configuration files in combination with cvs

It happens after the correct installation. The client connects to the cvs
server und tries to get the config files needed by make_all. Although this
fails make_all is started and reports a lot of errors because of missing
config files (which is logical because cvs does not function properly).

when excatly does that error-msg apears, when making-bootdisk or when
installing on the client ? When runnig on installation the files are
normaly
checked out to /tmp/alice at thet moment evet the home for root is set to /
(it took me a while to figure out, why an automatic login was not possible
when using cvs to get the files to the client.
