Hello, yesterday I tried to build the new 2.4.20 kernel on my Personal AlphaStation 5/266 (Alcor). All went fine, but when I tried to boot the kernel I got back the cycling output: scsi: aborting command due to timeout : pid 0, scsi0, channel 0, id 0, lun 0 0 scsi: aborting command due to timeout : pid 0, scsi0, channel 0, id 0, lun 0 0 scsi: aborting command due to timeout : pid 0, scsi0, channel 0, id 0, lun 0 0 scsi: aborting command due to timeout : pid 0, scsi0, channel 0, id 0, lun 0 0 I do not know what to do or what went wrong. Kernel 2.2.19 behaves properly. Regards, Bjoern Berg GeneSys GmbH IT-Services - Software-Engineering Müller-Breslau-Str. 30a 45130 Essen, Germany
