Installing suse independently

Hello,

I am starting a job on the 1st of August which will require that I Install,
Configure and Use Suse 9.3 and 10 when it comes out independently using
either Braille or Speech.

From what I've read it seems like BLS doesn't support the Pacmate 40 cell
Braille display? If this is the case can anyone suggest an alternative which
would allow me to install Suse 9.3 professional independently?

I rarely have to navigate using Braille as I mainly rely on speech.  to this
end can any one tell me if there's been any success in getting speakup to
work with Suse?

I'd appreciate any assistance any of you can provide.
