Hi Wulf,
it depends on the workload of the server. Sometimes one of our biggest
server need more than 3 minutes for shutting down. In case of that, my
shutdown script call /opt/lotus/bin/nsd -kill to force the shutdown.

A cronjob should run "rcdomino stop" for being prepaired doing a
backup afterwards. . Mostly the job stops Domino within 30 sec.
Occasionally the rcdomino is waiting more than 120 sec - and then
forcing Domino down. I can´t find any regularity. Perhaps i shoud do
an "echo tell router quit" (or other dominotasks) to the console?
