Hi again,
It's still a test-server with :
PIII - 450 MHz
64 MB Ram
about 8GB HDD
should work.
Have SuSE Linux 7.2 installed and Lotus Domino 5.0.9(a) - i'm not sure if
with "a" or not ...
I didn't install any Java-Classes ... yet ( from SuSE CDs ) .
A long time ago I've setup a Domino 5.0.2c on Linux ( 6.2 ) and didn't had
any probs with it.
I've been told several ideas to fix the problem with the http-task ( on 7.2
) but they all didn't work ... yet . :-(
Mit freundlichen Grüßen

Hi!
Which Domino version, what is running?
Hadn't have had any problems with http. Runnning a Domino Server with
Lotus Learning Space (LLS). Users working on courses using there
web-browsers. Runs seamlessly. No crashes since more than a year now.
HW:
- IBM PC-Server 310, Pentium/133 MHz, 64 MByte RAM, 2x4 GByte HD (first
trials, moved four months later to)
- IBM PC-Server 520, PII/200 MHz, 128 MByte RAM, 27 GByte Raid5 HD (ran
about eight months. Had problems due to memory shortages)
- Dell Power Edge 2450, PIII/733 MHz, 512 MByte RAM, 27 GByte Raid5 HD
(runs now)
OS:
- SuSE Linux 6.2, 6.3, 6.4, 7.0, 7.1, 7.2, 7.3, and in short 8.0
SW:
- Domino R5 Versions 5.0, 5.01, 5.02, ..., 5.0.9a
I am not migrating to R5.0.10 since we intend to move our databases to an
AIX-Server --- not while linux isn't stable enough, just because we're out
of trial phase for LLS and production Servers run on some bigger,
clustered (and more expensive) machines...
