Ralph, "MAIL.WaitingForDNS" statistic are 0, but "MAIL.WaitingRecipients" statistic and "MAIL.Waiting" statistic are high (around 90 mails after one server-up day). After Domino server restart are all mails delivered at once. Do you have any idea what else can be cause for mail waiting queue? If domain name services are unavailable, messages will be put on hold. Retransmission efforts will occur less and less often, if DNS is unavailable for a longer period of time. DNS availability can vary, depending on your IP provider and network connection. That's why I suggest to some of my customers to run at least a caching DNS in the local network. -- Mit freundlichen Grüßen / Yours sincerely Dipl. Inform.
