hi,
if you have a Domino Administration-Client, you can use the Sever- Console
for a TRACE.
Switch the Console Live and put in the Instructionfield TRACE
"anymaildomaine.de" and start'it with RETURN.
On the Console you will see the results.
An other Point is a little Thing called "dnsquery". It is in some Packet's
from SuSE. For example "SuSE Firewall on CD".
With this tool you can check your MX Registration, like dnsquery
yourmaildomain.x
A result form our maildomain:
> www:~ # dnsquery bbs-gmbh.de
> ;; ->>HEADER<<- opcode: QUERY, status: NOERROR, id: 15145
> ;; flags: qr rd ra; QUERY: 1, ANSWER: 4, AUTHORITY: 2, ADDITIONAL: 3
> ;; bbs-gmbh.de, type = ANY, class = IN
> bbs-gmbh.de. 7m9s IN NS ns1.highwayone.de.
> bbs-gmbh.de. 7m9s IN NS ns2.highwayone.de.
> bbs-gmbh.de. 7m9s IN MX 0 mail.bbs-gmbh.de.
> bbs-gmbh.de. 20h22m34s IN SOA ns1.highwayone.de.
> bbs-gmbh.de. 7m9s IN NS ns1.highwayone.de.
> bbs-gmbh.de. 7m9s IN NS ns2.highwayone.de.
> ns1.highwayone.de. 20h25m14s IN A 62.138.2.162
> ns2.highwayone.de. 20h25m14s IN A 62.138.2.164
> mail.bbs-gmbh.de. 14m38s IN A 62.138.233.34
