Hello,

I tried to install Lotus Domino 6 on SuSE 8.2 Prof, but without any success. There is no X installed on the server. So I did the following steps:

1. login as user "notes"
2. cd /opt/lotus/bin
3. export DISPLAY=192.168.0.252:0.0
4. ./server -listen

Now I start the programm "serversetup.exe" on my windows client, with parameter " -remote". Then I do all my settings and get a summary of all settings.
The programm tries to write the settings to the server now, but an error occurs. "Network communication error"

The user "notes" has privileges to write into notes.ini and on both systems there is no firewall installed.

Why can I not finish the installation? - Any ideas?

Thanks for help.

Mit freundlichen Gruessen / With best regards
