I have ordered SUSE 8.0 in order to test Web proxy and Domino features (as
an NT alternative) . Even so, can Domino run on Red Hat 9.0?
Marc - thanks for updated link.

Hi,
I made some stupid mistake in one of the links. The first one should read:
http://ibm.com/developerworks/offers/lp/ls/bb/
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Nice to see that this mailing list is not as dull as it seemed last week...
Greets,
Marc

[suse-domino] Does Domino run on Suse 9.0?
Hi,
I presume there is not much experience with Dom6 + SUSE 9.0 *yet*. To
speak for myself, I havei nstalled Dom. 5.12 on SuSE 8.0 with help of the
famous redbook by IBM about this matter, see:
http://publib-b.boulder.ibm.com/Redbooks.nsf/RedbookAbstracts/sg246835.html?Open
(actually it covers Domino 6.0).
After that, one or two people in this mailing list reported problems +
solutions for Domino 6.0 on SuSE 8.1 or 8.2
Since the advance of SUSE 9.0 I have not seen any messages about the
matter.
So, give it a try (although SUSE 9.0 is a big shift from 8.0, notably the
kernel and libraries are far newer), and report what you experience.
Or, get SuSE 8.0 and go the 'save' way. 'Save', that is you have to update
it with alle the security-fixes that were published after the release
(accounts for SUSE 9.0 as well of course).
Maybe you can have a look at these sites:
