Hi, you shouldn't think in "Distributions" - think in "LINUX" ... that's all ... there's no matter if you're using Red Hat Linux , SuSE Linux or any other Linux Distribution - the only difference is its actuallity ... and maybe user-tools ... imho. If you want to use SuSE Linux - use it ! Lotus Domino is made for "LINUX" and not for "RED HAT" or any other special distribution ... I don't care about what kind of distribution to use ... it's just important that you've all neccessary libraries and shell-environments set onto your domino box. Again, IMHO. -bruno [email protected] schrieb am 09.02.2004 15:44:28: > > Hi List! > > Just a short question: > Why is IBM not supporting any versions of SuSE with domino 6.5.1? > Do we have to switch to RedHat or UnitedLinux? > > My domino servers work on debian, knoppix and SuSE without any real problems. > Yes, it is harder to install a domino server on a debian box, but when it is > done, it works. > > I found out on: > http://www-3.ibm.com/common/ssi/OIAccess.wss?DocURL=http://d03xhttpcl001g. > boulder.ibm.com/common/ssi/rep_ca/5/897/ENUS204-015/index. > html&InfoType=AN&InfoSubType=CA&InfoDesc=Announcement+Letters&panelurl=OIAccess. > wss%3Fbuttonpressed%3DDET001PT008%26hfdd%3D%26hfud%3D%26timestamp% > 3D1075988752141%26user%3DEXT%26previouspagevisited%3D3%26page%3D0%26user% > 2Btype%3DRegular%26specific_index%3DDET001PEF010%26DET001PGL002% > 3DDET001PEF010%26DET001PEF001%3D%26catalogue _index%3DDET001PEF004% > 26DET001PGL001%3DDET001PEF004%26category_index%3DDET001PEF027%26DET001PGL003% > 3DDET001PEF027%26user%2Btype%3DRegular&paneltext=Multiple+information+search#Software > > that SuSE is no longer supportet...
