The nsd stuff are errors that're occuring after the crash. domino is seg faulting. when this happens, it attempts to run an nsd. I'm not sure you know what an nsd is, but it is a way to gather statistics that occurred when domino crashed to help engineers debug the problem. Do you know what version of glibc you're running? Tim "Yogesh Talekar" <[email protected]> 09/14/2004 01:06 PM Please respond to yogesh To: [email protected] cc: Subject: Re: [suse-domino] Fatal Error signal = 0x0000000b while moving to newhardware Hello, Thanks for the prompt replies. I check that all files are owned by notes user. But I also noticed following lines in the log file INFO: New files added/deleted to/from directory '/local/notesdata2' INFO: Generating binary list file ./nsd.ponldom6/nsd_Release6.5.2_cache.ins.lst mv: cannot stat `./nsd.ponldom6/nsd_Release6.5.2_cache.ins.lst.tmp': No such file or directory INFO: Generating cache file ./nsd.ponldom6/nsd_Release6.5.2_cache.ins Also sometimes I see this: Stack base = 0xbffee598, Stack size = 4856 bytes Fatal Error signal = 0x0000000b PID/TID = 17069/1024 /opt/lotus/bin/server: line 1070: 17069 Segmentation fault ${ToRun} "$@" Is there something wrong with the file structure or my JRE? . Should I copy the data again and try? Also I see lot of ncd.sh instances running, what are they?
