Hello Sascha,

Yes. But some hundrets ov viruses per month has given me the experience,
that you can sleep more comfortable if you combine antivir from H+B EDV
with ClamAV. Sometimes the update process of ClamAV is bit faster and has
protected our system from some desaster.

My recommendation: H+B-EDV Antivir together with ClamAV and a well
configured postfix server for mail relaying.

Hello,

since the software quality is so substandard for Domino antivirus
gateways I would strongly advise to ditch them all and go an entirely
different route. Instead of paying lots of $$$ (or €€€) or whatever
currency it is you will be forking over for a low quality product that
is actually dangerous and prone to hang / crash / burn, install the
antivirus SMTP gateway on the same box using a different port. amavis
has been mentioned, I use amavis-new, which you can use with almost any
anti virus software. Mine updates frequently during the day with no
problems at all. Only just today W32.Sober.I@mm somehow made it tru :-(
But that hole is plugged now, too.

My recommendation: amavisd-new with H+B EDV on Linux. SuSE Linux, of
course ;-)
