They are not going to fix the SLES 9 wget bug. :-( %%% begin clipping from Novell support %%% This issue has been investigated by our developers and they have concluded it is not feasible to develop a patch to provide SLES9's wget with proper HTTPS proxy support (using the HTTP "CONNECT" method). Upgrading SLES9's wget is not an option either, as the newer versions have different command line options, so customer scripts relying on wget (perhaps including fou4s) would be broken. We recommend you help your customers to switch to YOU as their update mechanism, at least until a curl-based version of fou4s is available. %%% end clipping from Novell support %%% Kevin -- _ | Kevin Ivory | Tel: +49-551-3700000 |_ |\ | | Service Network GmbH | Fax: +49-551-3700009 ._|ER | \|ET | Bahnhofsallee 1b | mailto:[email protected] Service Network | 37081 Goettingen | http://www.SerNet.de/ --
