If you intend to upgrade to 16.0 eventually, I suggest you switch to
network manager now. Less pain later.

This is a N5110 older 64bit so 16 is a no go. I am shopping for a newer
system.

Presently I need wireless because the library only allows that no ethernet.
There was an application long ago which allowed one to detect and select
from whatever wireless was in the area.
But first I have to configure the wireless.

I tried Network Manager in gnome and it did not come up devn running direct
with /usr/sbin/NetworkManager nothing pops up.
While it is NM I can not use Yast to configure so I am hosed.
