Final note in thread on Zen browser, Zen is current with TW Firefox (e.g. built on 152.0.3) and does a really good job maximizing screen real estate. One quirk that I did not like was the newtab page was removed and replaced with the URL dialog to have to you type in (or search for) the URL to open in that new tab. I don't work that way, I don't remember exact URLs or titles. I don't keep many tabs open, so when I want a page, I want a blank newtab page that I can then use bookmarks (crtl + b) to select from. My local weather on the newtab page was a plus - even though it does represent some traffic in/out of the browser. Good news is that you can easily get your newtab page back in zen: Fix Zen newtab page in about:config zen.urlbar.replace-newtab false Activate the weather on newtab page browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.system.showWeather true With that, zen is by far my favorite alternative to Firefox - even though it's really just a cleaned-up Firefox itself.
