First of all, I don't think we will (or should) drop kdelibs4 in the short 
term, even if it is no longer part of KDE Applications.
So KDE4 applications provided by other repos should still be installable and 
run.

And to respond to the original mail, we probably should wait a bit before we 
drop applications that are no longer included upstream, at least some of them 
may reappear in 18.04 I think...

Ok, we probably should drop blogilo, the 17.08.3 version doesn't build, and it 
the KF5 port  really work anyway (since ever KDEPIM has been ported in 15.08 
two years ago).

Now to your specific questions:

There's still (or again) some work going on in the kf5 porting branch.
But it will definitely still take a while...

Real replacements are not available currently AFAICT.

Of course dragonplayer can play back multimedia files, and there's also 
kaffeine (ported and based on VLC instead of xine since some time).
Not really the same though.

A new KDE based player would be elisa, but I never tried that one.

Maybe the old juk then, which has been ported too, and will be part of 17.12.

Actually ported, the maintainer just didn't merge in time and asked for an 
exception:

He didn't provide a good reason so far though, but maybe it will again be 
included in 18.04 then.

The rest you mention more or less have been ported, but they are not part of 
"KDE Applications" (amarok neither, btw).
They are 3rd party apps and have their own release cycle.
So it's just up to their maintainers to do a KF5 based release.

False positives I suppose (except soundconverter ;-) ).
Unless you installed them from my repo (home:wolfi323:KDE:Frameworks5 that you 
mentioned), these are indeed the KDE4 versions then.

And I'd like to stress here (again), that the packages from that repo probably 
won't work on a standard system (without installing *everything* from that 
repo).
That repo is intended to have both KDE4 and KF5 versions co-installed, the KF5 
versions are installed to /opt/kf5/ which is not part of the search paths in a 
standard installation...

Btw, akonadi-ews is bogus, it was just a work/development branch and will 
be/is included in kdepim-runtime in 17.12.
Maybe we should add an "Obsoletes" there, but it was never available in any 
standard repo anyway.
