Exactly. It is very feature rich. VLC, SMPlayer and so also play music files, 
but don't have nice work with collections, to highlight just one example...

OK, so old good Kopete should survive the transition period.

My concern was that if KDE4 libs are dropped, these fully functional and very 
good applications will just stop working... Did I understood it wrongly?

Hm, isn't it bug then? ;-) SoundConverter is excellent application, BTW.

So far I have nothing from Your repo, I just found it when looking for KF5 
versions of applications I desperately need.

Dan Vrátil said it should be soon/already (I don't remember version he said 
part of Akonadi, so this might be just leftover...
