Latex and Hindi

Hi,

I try to set up Latex for direct typesetting of Hindi text.

I found  a description of waht to do here:

However, the command ttf2tfm tituscbz.ttf -w tituscbz at Unicode@
failed. I think the options of ttf2tfm changed.

As there were very convenient tools for Chinese in the suse
distribution, I wonder whether there are any tools for Hindi.

If not, does anybody know of a more up to date description of the
Hindi-Fonts?
