The question is whether this influences on the real mono-space
behavior.  Are IPAGothic (not PGothic) and Mincho shown with the
right, fixed pitch as before?

Unless IPA provides it again, we can't include it in the new package.
At most, create another package just for IAPUIGothic from the old
font tarball.  We could provide it on M17N repo, but not necessarily
on FACTORY, IMO.
