Do to legal problems with mp3, openSUSE does not and has not shipped with
mp3 support except for a short time when that support was provided via
realaudio, iirc.  This has been discussed (for lack of a more fitting
description) many times at length on the opensuse list.

You probably have previously added support for mp3 via packman
repositories.

It would cause less turmoil if you would get your facts straight before
issuing fud and wild rantings condeming openSUSE.
