the terminology change with any application! kdenlive is different
from cinelerra and also from blender

but at least the cinelerra layout is sipmilar to standard editors (the
standard being Adobe Première in our world if you have any Windows
workstation, Premiere have a free demo version - due 3 month - just to
see what it is - i don't like it)
